Emma Coronel sent her greetings from jail

An Instagram account linked to Emma Coronel Aispuro published a post in which Joaquín Guzmán Loera's wife, El Chapo, is seen smiling during a video call from prison.

Although her face was covered by a crown sticker, which refers to her surname and some of her most famous photographs posted on her social networks, the facial features match those of the former beauty queen who has been in a relationship with the drug trafficker since she was a minor.

In the image, Emma Coronel is smiling against a background of white painted bricks, corresponding to the security facilities in which she has been staying since the past 22nd of February. He holds his head with his left hand, which has a digital watch on his wrist. Her outfit is complemented by a gray sweatshirt, glasses and a well-groomed head of hair.

“They send greetings to you, plebes”, was the phrase that accompanied the publication. Later, in a second story released hours later, she shared the response of one of the followers of this account dedicated to makeup and hair, which, according to its location, is located in Parral, Chihuahua.

The woman claimed that she did not know Chapo's wife, but asked the makeup artist, in case of talking to her again, express her support and affection, because, she said, there are many people who love her and wish her the best in this process that she lives.

“I don't know the lady, but for all the little I have seen and heard about her story, I hope you read this message that there are a lot of people who really do love her and wish her the best and that God gives her great strength to keep going” (sic), said the user.

This account has 4,565 followers, but among them is not Emma Coronel. Despite being an account dedicated to beauty, it does not have any tagged people who have requested its services.

It is known that the woman behind the publications is very close to Coronel Aispuro, as she was in charge of doing the hairstyle and makeup for the famous photographs in the who appears dressed as a wedding, the last ones she posted on her personal Instagram, as she herself pointed out.

Although she is not a follower of the account, Chapo Guzmán's wife liked a photograph from this remembered session that was published on December 21, 2020. He also left a comment, although it was only about the applause and wink emojis.

Facebook is also a social network in which the makeup artist has a presence. On her profile, which registers just over 500 followers, the woman also shared some images from these controversial sessions. In one of them, released on February 22, 2021, he said that it was “My favorite model forever”.

This photo is curious, because on both social media profiles it was published on the same day that Emma Coronel was arrested at the airport in Dulles, Virginia, for traffic of drugs, reported the United States Department of State.

Among the snapshots shared on Facebook are two, published on February 14, 2020, in which you can see the tattoo that Coronel has on the left side of his back, almost reaching the armpit. It is a small green butterfly with pink, a detail that little had been appreciated about it.

So far, it is not known whether the shared video call is part of the privileges she enjoys from her single stay in jail, or whether it has anything to do with cooperation with the US authorities. However, if something is clear, it is that even the wife of El Chapo does not avoid taking photos to publish them on social networks.
