Chris Perez dedicated a tender message to Selena 27 years after her murder

The “Queen of Tex-Mex” had a torrid affair with the guitarist of her group, whom she married in 1992 despite the opinion of her family

This Thursday, March 31, marks the 27th anniversary of the regrettable death of Selena Quintanilla, the American artist of Mexican descent who conquered the audience with its memorable performances, charisma, designs and unparalleled rhythm. The native of San Antonio, Texas, took advantage of the space and the occasion to thank the endless shows of affection that thousands of fans have made in memory of Selena over the years. In a way, the musician sympathized with all the people who continue to regret the unexpected departure of the performer when she was only 23 years old and ended by ensuring that her legacy is still present.

“Sending a big thank you to all Selena fans for the great things they do to help keep their memory and legacy alive and pass on their music from generation to generation. Here we are, together... all these years later with its light shining today more than ever”, he concluded.

As expected, the comment section soon filled with touching messages for the singer and words of encouragement for her widower. Even, some users of the platform remembered the love story they lived until their last days together and applauded that Chris keeps his souvenir.
