Alejandro Aguinaga accuses the government of using Alberto Fujimori to ignore alleged corruption of Pedro Castillo

The general practitioner of the former president considered that “the greatest pathology that aggravates and complicates it” is “the lack of authority in the country”.

After it became known that the Inter-American Court of Human Rights required the Peruvian State to refrain from executing the decision to release Alberto Fujimori, several figures from the environment of the former president rejected it and urged the government of Pedro Castillo not to abide by it.

Such is the case of the parliamentarian of Fuerza Popular and the former president's general physician, Alejandro Aguinaga, who argued that the Executive seeks to divert attention from the alleged acts of corruption in which the head of state would be involved with his patient's case.

“We must preserve the health of Fujimori, who is about to turn 88 and who suffers from a number of pathologies, but the biggest pathology that aggravates and complicates it is precisely the lack of authority in the country, the failure to enforce our sovereign rights to justice”, he said in reference to the Inter-American Court's ruling on the Fujimori case.

In that sense, Aguinaga told the press outside the Parliament that those congressmen who voted against the presidential vacancy motion are “partners and accomplices” of the Government. According to him, the whole country is asking for Castillo's departure “so that the economy is straightened and there is work”.

KEIKO FUJIMORI URGES THE GOVERNMENT TO FREE HER FATHER

Former presidential candidate Keiko Fujimori, daughter of Alberto Fujimori, rejected the communiqué of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR). Through an audio published on her official Twitter account, the leader of Fuerza Popular lamented that “a simple document” stops the release of her father, who is not allowed to enjoy “human rights, not even the most basic right to life.”

“In yet another chapter in a series of injustices against my father, an international court long recognized for its ideological bias now seeks to prevent Alberto Fujimori's release through a simple document, not even a resolution, from being released from prison. My family is in great pain to confirm that when it comes to my father, there are no human rights, not even the most basic right to life,” he said.

Fujimori also urged the Government not to accept the IACHR's request, otherwise their family will hold them responsible for what happens to the health of the Patriarch of the Fujimori

“This is the hands of the Government now to break into or not to a measure as precarious as it is unjust, if there were a minimum of balance in its assessment, it should not disregard the ruling of the Constitutional Court. From giving in to such a perverse and inhumane maneuver, my family holds this Government responsible for the consequences that its decision may have on Alberto Fujimori's life and health,” he continued in the audio.

DEFENSA DE ALBERTO FUJIMORI PRONOUN

For the defense of former president César Nakazaki, the pronouncement of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights could be conditioned on an “ideological bias”, as Keiko Fujimori said. “It's a sign of an ideological bias, unless you don't have the complex information. He trusted that he was not informed because he would not be able to meet the requirements. I don't see a legal form in which they can say that Alberto Fujimori, under the current conditions, generates a great danger of leaving the country, already with these two precautionary measures that have been issued,” he said.

Finally, he said that Fujimori Fujimori will not be released, at least, until April 6, when the IACHR will consider the case and define the future of the former president.
