It should be remembered that this is not the first vehicle incident of its kind to be recorded in Antioquia so far in 2022. In the early morning of January 1, a private vehicle carrying five people rolled over a cliff at least 100 meters deep in the municipality of Guatapé, killing two of the passengers, while three others were injured.

According to Caracol Radio, although the accident occurred around 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning in the Quebrada Arriba village, the facts were not reported until 10:00 in the morning, when the relief agencies went to attend to the emergency.

The town's volunteer fire brigade arrived to the village, located 20 minutes from the urban area of Guatapé, which found the car completely destroyed, according to the same station's report. Despite the condition of the vehicle, the relief agencies were informed that the injured had already been transferred by the community to a health care center.

The first reports submitted by the authorities indicated that the two fatalities were reportedly a married couple, who traveled with three other relatives to a farm they owned in the sector, on the occasion of the New Year celebrations.

This Wednesday, March 30, the Medellín Traffic Police also informed Blu Radio that an intermunicipal bus ran over three workers at a construction site in the northern terminal of the city, two of whom lost their lives.

According to the radio station, the events took place on Carrera 64, regional avenue, on the railway line of the North Terminal, when the bus driver lost control of the vehicle colliding with a taxi, and subsequently ran over the three workers.

The Judicial and Mobility Police of Medellín told the media that, while one of the victims died at the scene, another was sent to a healthcare center, however, she did not survive either. For now, the condition of the third injured worker is unknown, however, it is known that he is being treated in a medical facility.

The authorities of the capital of Antioquia informed Blu Radio that the facts are already a matter of investigation.
