Marysol Sosa remains hopeful to know what José José's last days were like

September 2022 marks three years since the regrettable death of the “Prince of Song” and his eldest children are still waiting for explanations from his sister Sarita Sosa

Two years have passed six months since the regrettable death of José José, the artist who left Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, to conquer audiences internationally with his performances becoming the Prince of Song. Unfortunately, doubts about how he spent his last days in the United States after moving unexpectedly after a visit from Sarita Sosa, persist.

For that reason, Marysol Sosa remains firm in discovering the circumstances that prompted her father to change residence from one moment to the next, why she did not communicate with her and her brother José Joel during those months and what her state of health was before September 28, 2019, the day she lost her life at 71 years of age.

In an interview for Hoy, Marysol Sosa confessed that despite the obstacles she has faced in learning the truth about the quality of life her father led since he left Mexico, she remains firm in clarifying the facts outside the inheritance he left behind. It should be remembered that since the singer moved to the United States, the differences that exist between his children stood out and were reflected after his death.

“My dad is always going to be from the village, always, for the rest of our lives. I can tell you this way, I clearly love taking my case today, I am going to achieve my goal, I am going to do justice, I want justice, I want to know what happened to my family member, what is up, regardless of everything else that is already where he is”, he declared.

Regarding the possibility of meeting with Sarita Sosa in order to talk about what happened, Marysol explained that she does not yet have an exact date to be able to do so, this after there was speculation about the possibility of holding the meeting within the next two months. However, he assured that thanks to the change in the epidemiological traffic light he has managed to make some progress.

I haven't exactly been told dates, if I know we are moving forward [...] we keep moving forward, our case continues, we will do justice. I don't know how much longer it takes but we're on it,” he added.

Finally, Marysol Sosa thanked all the signs of affection that the public has made in memory of her father in recent years and referred to the entrepreneurship of a young man who wanted to release a tequila inspired by the Prince of the song.

“There will be things personally that sometimes don't fit and, on the other hand, I think, well I don't think, it's, there is an order to do things today. In everything we are going about, I mean our legal situation, there is an executor”, he concluded.
