After the controversial singer Marbelle used racist comments against the vice-presidential candidate, Francia Márquez - a situation that caused the sued before the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Nation - the interpreter gave way to her critics and said how she would face that process before the law.

It was the senator-elect of the Historical Pact, Roy Barreras, who filed legal action against the voice of Pearl Necklace for saying “King Kong” and “FARC-ia” to Gustavo Petro's vice-presidential formula.

The congressman's announcement came through his Twitter account, a situation that did not go unnoticed by Maureen Belky Ramírez Cardona (first name of the singer), who cited that publication and, without apology, told how he will respond to comments towards the Afro leader.

Here I will be with my forehead held high, attentive to what the law requires of me... With the peace and honesty that you and the future candidate will never have!” , he said in a short but vehement trine.

Moreover, she even mentioned Roy Barreras and Gustavo Petro with her own name and assured that she, unlike the two politicians, does have “the peace and honesty that you and the “candidate” will never have,” he said.

In another publication she referred to her controversy, said that she is not afraid to face the authorities because she is not a public official and called her complainants a “jerk”. “I feel very proud that I don't eat, I tell how much of a prick I am offended by it. I've lived it since I was 16, without networks. I'M NOT SURPRISED! They can sculpt me, I don't launder money for anyone, my accounts are clear and I'm not a public servant... Let those who have stolen be scared,” Marbelle said.

It should not be forgotten that after the controversy aroused, the controversial artist erased the incriminating trills. However, Roy Barreras attached copies of the trills in his lawsuit and left the arguments for which he will denounce the singer vallecaucana.

The complaint by Roy Barreras, which was filed in the office of Attorney General Francisco Barbosa, reads the senator's analysis of Marbelle's tweet. “This is how Mrs. Ramírez used this character to refer in a disparaging, rude and insulting manner to the candidate for the Vice President Francia Márquez Mina,” he said.

In addition, he pointed to other trills in which Marbelle associated the vice-presidential candidate with the extinct FARC-EP, a guerrilla organization that has already been dissolved and in which Márquez was never linked, nor is it related to the GaOr of dissidence.

Roy Barreras says that, with her tweets, the singer committed the crimes of insult, slander and harassment. For the first crime, if proven, the singer would have to pay a sentence of between 16 and 54 months in prison; for slander there are sentences of 16 to 72 months, and for harassment she can receive from one to three years.
