The Pixar universe seems to be inexhaustible, not only because of the new projects but because there are many stories derived from fictions that we all already love.

For example, on June 17, Lightyear will be released, the film that is derived from one of the central characters of Toy Story. Thus, the creator of the phrase “To infinity and beyond”, will tell his own story with new characters that will accompany him in this new adventure.

But there is another film that marked the industry and that is Finding Nemo (Finding Nemo), which was released in 2003 and told the story of a fish, Marlin, who was tragically losing his wife and his little babies. The only one who survived was Nemo, the clownfish that everyone loved and who spent his days with his father living on a reef. But one day, little Nemo is encouraged to go beyond the safe limits of his habitat and gets lost. His father doesn't hesitate to go after him, and along the way he meets Dory (who also managed to have his own film, Finding Dory), a blue surgeonfish who forgets everything.

But, the news that encouraged the fans of this cute little fish was released in an episode of The DisInsider Show (via What's On Disney Plus), when the editor-in-chief, Skyler Shuler, and the co-editor in chief, Derek Cornell, claimed that the same company, Pixar, is already in the middle of a series spin-off from Finding Nemo. It would feature the same director of the film, Andrew Stanton, who also participated in other films by the production company such as Finding Dory, Bugs: A Miniature Adventure, WALL·E and John Carter.

“So this is straight from Pixar... let's say that for the next two years you'll still be getting original content after Lightyear thanks to things like Cars on the Road and Dug Days. Pixar is diving into the world of series... they are animating and developing together with Andrew Stanton, a Finding Nemo series for Disney Plus.” This suggested that this series would already be on the way to completion although official confirmation by the company is still lacking.

Disney/Pixar Animation Studios' latest hit is Red, an animated film that premiered directly on the Disney Plus platform on March 11 and tells the story of Mei Lee, a 13-year-old girl who has a tense relationship with her mother, who hopes her daughter will be perfect. To top it off, something supernatural happens: when the young lady is disturbed by some question, she becomes a giant red panda bear.
