District is looking for owners of 194 vehicles from the dismantled Collective Public Transport service

Until May 2, owners can apply to receive disbursements in their favor

The Mayor's Office of Bogotá is looking for the owners of 194 vehicles of the already dismantled Collective Public Transport (TPC) service to access the benefit of disbursement in their favor established in District Decree 557 of 2021, regulated by Resolution 001 of 2022.

This seeks to ensure the disintegration of 100% of TPC vehicles that were not linked to the SITP.

To access this payment, the owner of the vehicle must apply directly to the Transmilenio offices and the vehicle license plate must appear in the following list.

It is worth remembering that since February 1, 2022, the receipt of applications from the owners of these vehicles began, which are received only in person at the offices of TRANSMILENIO S.A., located at Av. El Dorado No. 69-76 Elemento Torre 1 Floor 2 Building, from Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 4:00pm.

This process ends on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 4:00pm. Landlords who do not submit their application within the indicated period will lose their status as beneficiaries for disbursement.

These are the documents for the submission of the application by the owners:

- Express written statement of your willingness to accept the disbursement under the conditions provided for in District Decree 557 of 2021 and Resolution 001 of 2022.

- Written statement of the vehicle's failure to link the vehicle to the Integrated Public Transport System (SITP) and of not having received any consideration from the Capital District through its Funds, which shall be understood to be made under the gravity of the oath.

- Written statement that the specific vehicle you are applying does not have any process in place against the Capital District and its decentralized entities in which it demands the disbursement of resources. If so, express in it the commitment to submit a withdrawal or withdrawal of the judicial action or means of control that has been initiated, according to the procedural stage in which it is located.

- Written statement of not being a shareholder of existing and non-current SITP concessionaires.

- Copy of the vehicle's traffic license.

- Copy of the identification document of the owner or owners.

On the morning of Wednesday, March 30, Mayor Claudia López presented the new fleet of electric buses that will implement the transport system in the capital of the Republic and will make up for the absence of the so-called provisional SITP routes, thus strengthening the zonal component of public service routes in different locations.

The fleet consists of 406 new buses, one part of the fleet will be buseton-type vehicles with capacity for 50 passengers, and the other will be standard vehicles with capacity for 80 passengers, the fleet is made up of a total of 271 busetons and 135 standard buses. 213 buses will enter into operation on Saturday 2 April and the remaining 193 buses will enter into operation next Saturday, April 2, and the remaining 193 buses on April 23.

The main locations that will benefit from the operation of these modern buses will be: Kennedy, Chapinero, Teusaquillo, San Cristobal, Fontibon Usme, Ciudad Bolivar and Usaquén, guaranteeing the mobility of citizens and the quality of the air they breathe, in a city with a high component of pollution.
