Daniel Bisogno was called “misogynistic racist” for assuring that Eugenio Derbez is an artist and Yalitza Aparicio is not

After the film CODA: Signs of the Heart won best film during the 94th edition of the Oscars, the Mexican population became angry because Eugenio Derbez was in this cast. However, the controversy soon appeared, as characters from the show did not hold back and issued controversial opinions regarding this award.

One of those that caught the most attention was the host of Ventaneando, Daniel Bisogno, who did not hesitate to congratulate the actor of the film No Returns Accepted, but who also took the opportunity to fiercely criticize Yalitza Aparicio, actress who was nominated in 2019 as “Best Actress” at the Academy Awards for her participation in the film Roma.

It all started on social media, after Bisogno remarked that Derbez “yes” was someone to admire for having arrived at the acclaimed awards.

“Congratulations my dear and admired @EugenioDerbez you are a great example and you are, a pride for this country and for all of us who dedicate ourselves to entertainment. A brilliant and thinking person, as well as talented. Strong Embrace”, he placed from his Twitter account.

The reaction from netizens was not long in coming and several of them pointed out that the show host's comment was completely out of place, since compared to Yalitza, Eugenio Derbez had not even been nominated in an individual category.

“What hdp are you, Ludoviko (Eugenio) won nothing and you congratulate him and it is even a pride for the world, while you did crap with Yalitza Aparicio that she was nominated for her performance. What a little mother (sic)”, wrote one twitter.

Bisogno's comments against the artist from Tlaxiaco, Oaxaca, have not stopped since her debut role in Alfonso Cuarón's film. Since in past years, the driver of Ventaneando defended Sergio Goyri, who called Yalitza “pinch* india”.

Likewise, when the actress was going to be part of the team of drivers that would present the Latin Grammys 2020, the member of Ventaneando assured that she was not a driver and made clear that she was annoyed that Yalitza was performing in a job “for which she is not made”.

It is because of all of the above, that during Bisogno's most recent congratulations to Eugenio Derbez, the annoyance on the part of netizens was overwhelming. Thus, after the first criticism, Daniel did not remain silent and responded on Twitter:

“The difference is that Eugenio is an artist, Yalitza not remotely. And by the way here the only HDP IS YOUR BROTHER (sic)”.

But the fight with the users didn't stop and one Twitter user soon pointed out that the driver was macho and that he was the one with no skills.

“The difference is that you are a racist misogynist with a voice on television. Yalitza is an artist in every expression of the word and you don't have two grams of talent,” he said.

Another netizen also wrote: “And the best thing of all is that Yalitza, without being an 'artist', has gone further than you and all your colleagues combined and multiplied by x2. The joke is told alone (sic)”

To which Bisogno replied: “Where have you come? Don't be fooled! Success in this race is permanence! I would like her and you to have almost thirty years on the air in the first place of all show programs.”

Finally, Twitter users pointed out that the number of programs was not synonymous with quality and showed screenshots where the show host had blocked them.
