YouTube brings reactions with emojis in videos

Some emojis that can be used are hearts, faces of surprise, of sadness and even a question mark

YouTube is preparing a new update to provide more options for its consumers. The fact is that Google's video-sharing platform wants to include a new way to indicate whether a video 'loved' a user, as well as whether a video caused laughter, promising a way much easier to interact with the content of a creator: the use of emojis in reactions.

It is very clear that the good behavior of reactions in other options on the market, especially on social networks, motivates people to use them so that users feel more comfortable and with less effort when they show something. And, therefore, it is quite logical that Youtube does not want to lose track of its competition, and in this way they are testing its use.

How will emoji reactions be implemented on YouTube

Well, contrary to what you might think, these reactions won't stay in the comments section, which has long been the most popular way to criticize (for better or worse) videos.

The company, owned by Google, has decided that they will be on the same recordings through a drop-down menu. As a result, users will be able to decide to use them at a specific point in the content being viewed and, more importantly, everything will be recorded anonymously (at least for the time being).

And what types of emojis are there? Well, they're the most common to use. Some examples are hearts; surprise; sadness; and, even, a question mark may be left. The type and number of the use of these reactions will change depending on the employability that users give them.

New for viewers and content creators

This, obviously, in addition to benefiting the users themselves, who have more response options, also has positive results for the a href="https://www.infobae.com/tag/creador-de-contenido/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"bcontent creators themselves.

The reason is that they can know exactly what users like more or less, without having to read all the reviews to find out.

Now, YouTube has announced that the ability to use emojis in reactions will be implemented on certain channels to know their impact, and whether users will see it as something positive or not. But knowing the great use that is currently given to this feature on other platforms; be it Telegram, Instagram, Facebook and coming soon WhatsApp, it is normal to think that all this is here to stay.
