The Venezuelan Armed Forces dismantled a group of “armed Colombian drug traffickers terrorists” in Apure state, which borders Colombia, strategic operational commander Domingo Hernández Lárez reported Monday.
“In the middle of Venezuelan territory, another Colombian drug trafficking terrorist camp filled with its death and destruction materials, all from and manufactured from Colombia,” was dismantled by the Caribbean country's military personnel, the high command explained on its Twitter account, where he posted images of the operation.
He recalled that, in this way, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) “continues to dismantle invading terrorist groups” in Venezuelan territory, where, he assured, “they murder and traffic drugs.”
The official, who pointed out that the “inalienable right of the Venezuelan people” to be able to move around the national territory “has been cut short by Colombian drug traffickers” who have “encysted” themselves in the Caribbean country's lands “filling them with explosives,” reiterated that the FANB “will not negotiate sovereignty (and) they will be expelled all”.
Hernández appealed to the “patriotic spirit” of Venezuelans, who urged them not to be deceived by “false prophets” who seek, in his opinion, to introduce them “into the world of trafficking in drugs, weapons and explosives.”
“These are not Venezuelan customs (...) This is not Venezuelan culture, that is tancol culture. The law is hard, but it is the law,” the military man insisted.
“Tancol” is an acronym invented by the Venezuelan regime that does not refer to any specific gang and with which officials refer to “armed Colombian drug traffickers terrorists”.
The high command concluded that “there will be no tancol traces” in Venezuela, since, he insisted, “they will be neutralized with their structures of terror and fear throughout the country.”
In recent weeks, Venezuelan authorities captured several members of these groups in areas bordering Colombia, and seized “thousands of explosives”, as well as various types of drugs carried by detainees, according to information released by officials of the State security forces.
