US Secretary of State Antony Blinkenharshly” condemned Tuesday the “unacceptable” attack by a Palestinian that resulted in the death of five people in Israel.

“This violence is unacceptable. Israelis, like people around the world, have the right to live in peace and without fear,” Blinken said in a statement.

In tonight's attack, in the Israeli town of Bnei Brak, on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, four civilians and one policeman were killed and confronted the attacker.

This is the third in a single week in Israel. Last Sunday, two Arab-Israeli citizens killed two policemen in another shooting in the northern city of Hadera.

In turn, four civilians were killed last Tuesday in the southern city of Beersheva, in another attack by a Bedouin in the area.

The first two events were claimed by the Islamic State (IS), and it was indicated that the authors were supporters of the group, and for now there are no references to this in Tuesday's shooting.

This was celebrated in Gaza by the Islamist group Hamas, although it did not claim its authorship.
