Daneidy Barrera Rojas, better known as Epa Colombia, rose to fame after shooting a video in support of the Colombian National Team and going viral on social media. However, his financial success came through a hair products company, which has generated him a lot of money and through which he has given jobs to many Colombians.
A few days ago Yenni Saldarriaga, former accountant of the company, who gave an interview for Semana magazine and revealed several secrets of the financial management that the controversial influencer gives to her own business.
Saldarriaga said if you take into account the handling that Daneidy Barrera gives to this money and the lack of a financial organization of his company, generating good dividends, even with such high income, was very difficult for him.
“It is very difficult to make a profit like that, because we don't know if all the expenses are there, if it included the payroll, I don't know how he will handle that accounting right now, but we can draw that conclusion; that is, he had 5 billion left of utility, if I divide this and average the two months, let's say that it is 2.5 billion each month. That's as far as I could tell,” added the former Epa Colombia accountant, who worked by her side for five months.
After learning about Saldarriaga's statements in various media outlets, Epa Colombia said through its social networks that “success has brought me thousands of problems, but I love it, because the more they talk about me they make me known more and are positioning my products”.
And he assured that “What do I think of everything they say about me? God is the only one who can judge me. I am a super hard working woman, an entrepreneur and who got ahead.”
He also said: “Only God knows your heart. The human being destroys, tramples and wants to end you. As long as you're clean inside, the rest doesn't matter. Everyone is fighting and I'm here, calm down.”
Now, Barrera Rojas on her social media accounts said that she is traveling and indicated that “with everything that happens to me I needed to breathe the air. Everything happens to me, but God can do great things.” And he bragged about the luxurious hotel he's staying in
It should be remembered that, according to the businesswoman and social media figure, Yenni Saldarriaga and other members of a company in Medellin stole a large amount of money from their keratin company, while claiming to work for it.
“I never thought that my business would grow and expand so much, because as I told them, I sold 100 or 200 portions of keratins a month, so I looked for a team with accountants, lawyers and human resources staff, so I hired the services of a company in Medellin that took 2 billion pesos from me and they are the same as now they want to sue me,” said Barrera Rojas.
The businesswoman stated that they want to create a scandal by means of a documentary and alleged payments to the press to echo it and that apart from the alleged theft, they did not carry out the task entrusted to them either, and this meant that she had big problems with the Directorate of National Taxes and Customs (DIAN)
“They left me with a big problem because some things didn't do well at DIAN and I preferred to communicate with them to tell them that I had new lawyers, do things right, pay everything and stay up to date because I'm worried about being the one who evades taxes, the one who launders money and a little taxes,” said Epa Colombia.
“You have to learn to thank the passage of each person who comes into your life, it's not a coincidence, they are always part of your growth,” he concluded.
