A few hours after Peru vs Paraguay, a boy moved the whole country by his way of encouraging the “bicolor”. From Apurimac, little Yosimar used garbage bags to dress as Gianluca Lapadula and encourage the Peruvian national team.
Through a video, which went viral on social networks, the boy dominates and drives the ball with the “white-red” well on and a black mask on his face, as does the Peruvian national attacker.
“My son is 5 years old and he asked us for help because he always wanted Lapadula's shirt with his name on it. As we are in a very distant province, we couldn't buy it, so we tried to make it ourselves,” the father of the minor, Edwin Gaspar, told Canal N.
“We made it out of plastic, with bags. We even made the mask that Lapadula wears, everything wanted. But since we are in a far corner, we found the only way to do it,” he continued.
In the interview for the media, his father revealed that his son, apart from admiring the Italian-Peruvian striker, is a fan of Christian Cueva and Yosimar Yotún. “Every one who hears on television that Yotún has it, he tells us that he is playing there,” he said.
“Today we have to win, 2-0 with goals from Lapadula and Cueva, we have little signal here, but we will have to find a way to watch the game. There is not much coverage, but you always find a way,” he said.
Finally, he asked the Peruvian Football Federation for help so that little Yosimar knows the National Stadium and can watch a match of the Peruvian national team live. “He wants to know, see what it is like, but unfortunately you can't, it's very far away,” he said.
