Peru vs Paraguay: one representative of the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) and another from the Asian Football Confederation ( AFC) will play a quota at the Qatar 2022 World Cup through the World Cup repechage next June.
The Peruvian national team from fifth place in the standings of the South American Qualifiers defends their placement in the repechage zone with 21 points. The bicolor faces Paraguay on the last day of the qualifiers. In addition, Colombia with 20 points and Chile with 19 points, hope that the whiquirroja will not beat the Guaraní to look for a ticket to the repechage. La Roja faces Uruguay in Santiago and Colombia visits Venezuela.
In the case of the Asian Qualifiers, the last date of the third round was played in groups A and B. The top two of each group qualified for the Qatar 2022 World Cup: Iran and South Korea from Pool A and Japan and Saudi Arabia from Pool B.
The teams that placed third in Group A and B qualified for the fourth phase of the Qualifiers in which they will define their access to the World Cup Repechage next June as a single match.
In Pool B Australia secured its qualification to the fourth round of the Asian qualifiers with an early date. However, on the final day of Group A, the United Arab Emirates sealed its way to the next decisive stage after beating 1-0 South Korea with a goal from Harib Abdalla Suhail at Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai. In this way, Iraq and Lebanon were left out of the race and without a World Cup option for Qatar 2022.
In Pool B, Iran beat Lebanon 2-0 and took first place in the series by scoring 25 points, followed by South Korea losing to the United Arab Emirates (3rd with 12 points) ranked second with 23 points.
Thus, Australia and the United Arab Emirates will play a single and decisive match on June 6 (to be confirmed) in Doha Qatar. The winner will be the AFC representative for the World Cup Repechage of 13-14 June in the same city and under the same modality.

In South America, the quota for the repechage between the teams of Peru, Colombia and Chile is defined on the last date of the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers. Whoever ranks fifth will qualify for the World Cup Repechage Zone.
