The competitors of 'MasterChef Celebrity' were on a trip to the Coffee Axis, but they didn't exactly go to enjoy their landscapes, but to demonstrate, in the kitchens, why they still deserve to be in the competition, and after the team challenge played last weekend, it was the turn for a new elimination test.

Those sentenced were Isabella, Pamela, Matía T, Tostao, Corozo, Chicho Arias and Carlos Baez. Ramiro Meneses and Carolina Gomez were also on the list, but Aida Morales, the first to get an immunity pin thanks to her chunchullo dish, decided to save them. So, the eight celebrities with black aprons prepared for what would be the last test for one of them.

Each had a basket with various ingredients, including vegetables and root vegetables. Each one had to prepare a dish with only what was in that basket, and of protein they should include a trout. The three jurors also recommended removing all the bones and scales from the fish. Everyone had 45 minutes, but each one had to start 15 later, so first Carlos started, and after a quarter of an hour, Maria T started and then Isabella in the same period.

They didn't have it easy, because many of them had never prepared a trout; however, that was no impediment to doing their best. When it was Maria T's turn, she said she would prepare a ceviche with trout, while Isabella said that, despite her inexperience with this fish, she would do it with sautéed vegetables.

While in the kitchens the tension was lived to the fullest, there was an atmosphere of peace and tranquility on the sides of the saved ones. The relaxation plan focused on a horseback ride that everyone enjoyed, starting with Manuela González and Ramiro Meneses, who could not hide their amazement to spend, on the verge of elimination, being protected for another week.

Returning to the kitchens, Carlos received very good comments from the juries: “Carlitos did very well, very different from what the previous challenge presented,” said Jorge Rausch. María T, presented a tartar with fish, which had avocado in the base and was accompanied by corn and fried coriander; but despite its presentation, both Bogotá and Nicolás de Zubiría were surprised by the lack of salt in the dish.

'Take out the thorn with Pamela Ospina' was the name that the comedian gave to her creation, which consisted of a creole mashed potato. The only objection was in the protein, because it had gone from cooking. In contrast, Isabella presented a dish that, according to Rausch, was “the best of the challenge” considering the warm atmosphere they were in.

Chicho's 'Plato a la fresca' presented the best cooking point for the fish, and Corozo, who was the penultimate to pass by, exhibited the dish 'Jorge Velosa' because at the time of stirring the sauce “the spoon was lost”. Fortunately, the trout was on point, with crispy skin, and the sauce also tasted good at the discretion of the jurors.

Finally, Tostao prepared a 'Trout to the axis' with a bed of vegetables and without carbohydrates “to take care of the figure” of the chefs. That dish also received good comments.

Already with all the participants in the kitchen, the juries announced that the one eliminated was Maria T, precisely because of the lack of seasoning in tiger milk and because of her low-salt dish. Despite this determination, Rausch regretted its elimination. For her part, Manuela, who could not believe it either, indicated in front of the cameras that “it doesn't give a lot of guava to leave” from the competition.
