This Tuesday day became the world championship day par excellence so far in 2022: seven direct flights to Qatar will be confirmed and two repechage keys will be on track for next Friday's draw.
Friday's draw will have 29 qualified teams and there will be three bowls designated for the three playoffs that will just take place on June 13 and 14. There will be four pots with 8 selections in each and the groups will be assembled with a representative from each ciborium.
It should be noted that no two countries from the same federation will be able to face in the group stage, except for UEFA representatives who, having 13 qualifiers, will be able to add up to two teams in the same area.
At the same time, the three balls designated for the playoffs will go straight to Pot 4 regardless of their placement in the FIFA ranking. The seeds will be, after all, the top seven in the list that have qualified for the World Cup together with Qatar, the organizing country that will be in the initial location of Group A
The last four confirmations for the World Cup will arrive this Wednesday, March 30, with the outcome of the Concacaf and Oceania Qualifiers. With two direct tickets available, the United States and Mexico are on track to be the owners except for one feat by Costa Rica, which today would play the June playoff. Americans and Mexicans will go to Pot 2.
The Ticos, if the picture is not changed, will fight their luck in the middle of the year against the representative who arrives from Oceania who will also be known this Wednesday: Solomon Islands will face New Zealand.
The other two playoffs in June will take place between Wales and the Scotland-Ukraine winner (the duel was postponed following the war on Ukrainian territory). In addition, the United Arab Emirates or Australia (will be defined on June 7) will clash against the representative of Conmebol (Peru, Colombia or Chile).

THE RULES OF THE RAFFLE
The 29 qualified teams, the two intercontinental playoffs and the UEFA play-off quota will be divided into four groups of eight teams each, based on the World Ranking published on 31 March 2022, following the end of the international match window in March 2022. According to the standings, the top seven teams, along with the host, Qatar, are assigned to group 1. Selections ranked from 8 to 15 are assigned to group 2. The teams qualified from 16 to 23 are assigned to group 3 and, finally, group 4 includes the teams classified from 24 to 28, in addition to the two places that will be occupied by the winners of the intercontinental qualifiers scheduled for 13 and 14 June 2022 and the place of the winner of the UEFA playoff.
The general principle of FIFA, wherever possible, is to ensure that no group has more than one team from the same qualifying area. This applies to all areas, except Europe, which is represented by 13 teams. Each group must have at least one European team, but no more than two. Thus, five of the eight groups will have two European teams.
The geographical distribution of the winner of the UEFA repechage and the two winners of the intercontinental repechage will also follow the general principle of “separation” of teams from the same qualifying area
The geographical allocation of each intercontinental repechage place shall be based on the pairings of the confederation teams participating in that specific match of the intercontinental repechage
