Cabas responded with reflections to criticism by video in which he appeared singing 'past drinks'

A controversial video in which the singer Cabas is seen in an apparent drunken state in the middle of a concert has been spinning around the internet and being the cause of criticism for the artist. In the last few hours, the singer made some posts that many interpreted as a response to the situation unleashed on networks.

The event took place in the middle of the Barranquilla Carnival celebration, specifically, in the party that was held in the Jumbo Hall of the Country Club with the theme of Masks & Flutes. Several musical groups were presented there, including the Cartagena group Bazurto All Stars, who invited singer-songwriter Andrés Mauricio Cabas Rosales to sing some songs on stage.

However, in the videos that were spread on gossip pages it is seen that Cabas is sitting on stage and cannot sing. Although the singer has the microphone and tries to perform his song, the audience looks at him in surprise and makes comments about his condition, they clearly point out that the artist “is out of drinks”.

“What a lack of respect better than to go”; “Neither did Ana del Castillo dare so much”; “At least she complied, not like Nodal hahaha”; were some of the comments that were made in the publications on networks that contained the video.

Details of the event are unknown, but some people have also highlighted that Cabas had not been announced at the event, that is, he was not part of the artists who had to perform a presentation, he was simply invited by some colleagues. Even so, the singer's followers consider it disrespectful that he agreed to go on stage in that state and, in the same way, that he was allowed to improvise a performance with drinks on his head.

Some of those attending the event have stated that Cabas was the one interested in taking the stage; however, the other artists did not imagine that he was so affected by alcohol and allowed him to sing a song. However, it is difficult for Cabas to stand and prefers to sit, there he cannot interpret the song very well.

In the face of criticism, the artist has not spoken publicly, but he made a series of posts that several of his more than 188,000 followers on Instagram consider as responses to the controversy generated by his 'crazy night'.

In the first image published by Andrés Cabas he refers to the fact that 'a bad day cannot affect the progress that has been made in a lifetime, 'which is accompanied by a graph as an example. Perhaps the strongest message was in the second image that the artist shared in his' InstaStories', where he invited people to “give up hypocretia”.

He ended with another image that reads: “I don't have the energy to hate anyone. I don't have room in my heart to carry all the crap around. Either I love you, I wish you the best, or I hope you heal.”

However, not only did the artist receive bad comments, there are other social media users who respect the moment and point out that the artist is a human being who was enjoying the Barranquilla Carnival and should not receive criticism for it. “He has a right and he was having a good time”, “no one has the right to judge” and “at the Barranquilla Carnival nobody escapes drunkenness”, were some of the messages of support for Cabas.
