This year, the 9th season of Acapulco Shore was recorded in Cartagena, Colombia, where the well-known characters of the show, as well as some new members, experience the usual parties and problems of coexistence of the already well-known format that is broadcast on MTV and Paramount+. But in addition to all the typical “degenere” of the Shore Family in this new season they are also getting to know the Colombian culture, this with the help of José Rodríguez and Nati Peláez, the Colombians who are part of the house.

Since the first episode the renowned Karime, 'Chile', Beni, Jacki and Alba arrived at a paradisiacal beach in Cartagena and were welcomed by the Colombians to 'start' them tasting guaro; however, those who already have experience from past seasons endured the Colombian liquor and it was Rodríguez and Peláez to whom tequila it went to their heads.

In the midst of living together, the Shore Family has learned some typical Colombian words and expressions at the party, which is why Nati gave her fellow Mexicans a test called 'Colombian Dictionary for the Unmother'. The members of the house who measured their knowledge of Colombian words were Karime, Santiago Santana, Beni and Jacky.

By now, my Mexican teammates must already know the meaning of Colombian words,” Nati said before explaining the dynamics of the game. The proof was that she was going to say a word and whoever knew the meaning should put their hand on the table and say it, if she was right one point was earned, otherwise another was given the chance.

The first word was' Parche ', although Beni was the first, its meaning is not correct, since he pointed out that it was a party. For his part, Karime took the point by pointing out that it is “the group of friends”. The second word was' Pola 'and Beni took the point by saying that it is beer, but the other shores denounced that the Mexican was cheating by reading the cards that Dani had in his hand.

The third word was undoubtedly the easiest, as everyone shouted the meaning in unison, which is why the point was for the entire Shore Family. In this case it was the word 'guava' that Mexicans likened to 'raw', which is what the inhabitants of the Shore House usually experience every morning after their uncontrollable parties.

The fourth point was for Santiago, who knew the meaning of the word 'mondá'. Then they had to explain the word 'crunch', but the point was not clear because Karime and Jacky gave the meaning at the same time; the same thing happened with 'gonorrhea', as they all started shouting different meanings.

The first point for Jacky came with the word 'cascar' because she knew it meant hitting someone. With the word 'gomelo' there was controversy because someone gave Jacky the answer behind the cameras, so Karime was the one who took the point at the end by saying that he was “a spoiled child, strawberry”.

The points for 'paila' and 'culear' were taken by Karime and Santiago; however, none of them knew the meaning of 'chimbear'. Karime was the big winner, also taking the point of 'culicagado' and as a prize she received the kiss of the paisa.

In the most recent episode of Acapulco Shore 9, the return of Jey - who had already been spoiled on social networks - happened with a warm welcome from the rest of the cast, where even he was surprised at the “good vibes” that exist in this new installment.

The celebration in honor of Jey had to be inside the house due to the climate that was in paradise in Cartagena, Colombia, and although his inseparable duo (Karime and Chile) did not hesitate to try to update him on what had already happened with the Shore Family. Jawy's great friend noticed that Eduardo was “in love” with Nati Peláez - to whom he previously offered a second apology, which was not taken well - and made him quite mocked about it.
