Alessandra Rosaldo joined the list of Mexican artists who have wished Eugenio Derbez well on this Oscar Sunday 2022. After his participation in the film CODA: Signs of the Heart and his attendance at the Academy Awards, his wife congratulated him on social media with a tender video and words, and it is also his sixteenth anniversary, which is why romanticism flooded his Instagram account.
The 94th edition of the Oscars has begun and with it the euphoria for the most important award in the seventh art in the world has generated great interest. For this reason, everything related to Derbez has been one of the most talked about since he not only represents Mexicans at the ceremony, but also the Latinos who are conquering American cinema and are beginning to be recognized with the nominations for this installment.
The singer, who did not accompany her husband on this occasion, has joined the celebration of the Latinos and therefore dedicated a few tender words to him: “Is there anything my husband doesn't get? Not today, because he is absolutely convinced every day of his life and with the attitude of achieving everything he wants,” he said in a video where you could see them both sharing great moments in their careers.
CODA: Signs of the Heart is the film with three Oscar nominations 2022 in which Mexican actor Eugenio Derbez participates. The film competes in the categories of Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor and Best Film. Because of the importance of this invitation, Rosaldo also added: “I am the proudest wife in the world! My whole heart is with you, tonight will be magical again Very successful my love @ederbez! #Oscars #TheOscars”, he wrote.
Surprisingly, the happy marriage is also celebrating its sixteen years of having started with one of the most media and popular relationships in the Spanish-speaking entertainment world, for that reason she also shared some new photos with Derbez and some words that have been cheered on social networks by the chance that romantic date crossed with the 2022 Oscars.
“On March 27, 16 years ago, our eyes crossed and our lives changed forever. We fell deeply in love and there was no way around it. Today I celebrate and bless the 16 wonderful years we have been together and everything that together we have built, created, grown, overcome, transcended and achieved. We are undoubtedly a great team and I have a feeling that today, our lives will change again. There are no words that can express the pride I feel to see you realize your dreams and achieve everything you set out to do and more. You are pure inspiration, an example that drags and light that illuminates everything around you. I wish with all my heart that this will be the happiest of all our 27s on March 27. Happy Anniversary my love @ederbez I love you with all my soul!” , he shared.
CODA is an English-language adaptation of the 2014 French film, The Bélier Family, directed by Éric Lartigau. Although Derbez is proud of the role he played in that production, he did not expect to be nominated for his role in the film, however, he is proud to have been part of this great project that has already won awards at other international film festivals.
In this film, nominated for an Oscar for Best Film, the 60-year-old actor plays Bernardo Villalobos (Mr. V), a talented music teacher who plays the piano and motivates his student Ruby Ross, who is the daughter of deaf and dumb parents, to fulfill her dream of being a singer.
