New massacre in Michoacán: 19 people were executed in the clandestine palenque of Zinapécuaro

The Prosecutor's Office detailed that the bodies of 16 men and three three women were found at the scene, all with gunshot wounds

During the last hours of Sunday, March 27, there was a new massacre in Michoacán that left 19 people executed who were in a clandestine palenque within the municipality of Zinapécuaro.

According to the first reports, the events took place around 22:30 hours in the place located in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood. Emergency services and police came to the scene after allegations of detonations of firearms.

The Michoacán Attorney General's Office announced on social networks that it was already working on the case, so it sent personnel to the Las Tinajas area. For its part, the State Secretariat of Public Security detailed that different corporations were already in action to catch those responsible.

“Personnel of this Ministry of Public Security carry out tours in coordination with @SEDENAmx and @GN_MEXICO_ with the aim of capturing those responsible for the violent acts recorded in a clandestine Palenque in Zinapécuaro, where there are several injured and killed,” the agency wrote.

At first, the version that referred to a shooting between the attendees was handled. However, the information that began to circulate detailed that it was an execution that will be investigated to determine the motives and those who ordered the attack.

The Prosecutor's Office noted that the bodies of 16 men and 3 women were found at the scene, all with gunshot wounds. In addition, some attendees claimed that other people were injured, so they were taken to a hospital for medical attention.
