After a new online defeat — the last one at the Manuel Murillo Toro stadium, in Ibague, against Deportes Tolima — America de Cali delved into a crisis of results that could lead to the departure of its coach, Juan Carlos Osorio, in the coming hours.

At least this is how Osorio implied in a press conference after the meeting that 'The Red Devils' resigned to Deportes Tolima for the slightest difference.

The coach's message ended a week of confrontation with the tribune and with the top shareholder of the scarlet team, Tulio Gómez, who showed signs of dissatisfaction with the work of Osorio, one of the future aspirants to lead the Colombia national team.

“The bad worker blames the tool, because the mediocre do not accept their own mistakes and blame others for their inability” and “God gives us the tools to win, but those who think they are wise do not know how to use them” were the messages that trino Gómez as a claim for the deficit of the red square in the Colombian opening.

However, the departure of Juan Carlos Osorio would have an impact on the finances of America from Cali in the order of 2.8 billion pesos, given that he has a contract until June 2023. So his announcement last Sunday, could indicate the way for an arrangement with Gomez to conclude his cycle at the helm of the Red Devils.
