On March 28, the Russian Embassy in Colombia published a statement referring to the complaint about an apparent relationship between Russia and the demonstrations that took place in 2021.

According to the statement, the Russian government does not emerge from “perplexity and disappointment” by the alleged complaint and they say that they are “laughed” by the investigations and evidence claimed by the Colombian and United States governments.
