Alessandra Rosaldo dedicated an emotional video to Eugenio Derbez after CODA's victory for Best Film at the Oscars

Mexican singer Alessandra Rosaldo shared on her official Instagram account an emotional video combined with a message dedicated to her husband Eugenio Derbez, after winning the CODA Award for Best Film at the 94th Oscars 2022, so the comedian and producer took to the stage at to celebrate together with his whole team the triumph of the film in which he participated.

At 16 years of marriage, both actors enjoyed their anniversary differently, as Alessandra found herself starring in the 90s spoptour in Puebla and Eugenio would travel to the traditional Dolby Theater in Hollywood to witness one of the most anticipated galas in the world of cinema.

So the actress watched the awards from home with her daughter Aitana Derbez and that is how she captured the moment on a recording when singer Lady Gaga and Liza Minelli announced the name of CODA for Best Film, which triggered several cries of emotion in which she congratulated her husband on appearing as the winner at this gala.

“There's dad, what a thrill. Dad won, dad won. My love, my love, congratulations, there you are, there you are, there you are.”, were some of the words that Alessandra sang, when she observed Eugenio Derbez at the broadcast of the event.

Thus, the words dedicated to the actor in the description of the video confirmed the arduous feeling of emotion that arose when she saw her husband succeed.

A piece of my heart is broken because I wasn't there with you at the time but I have said that it was beautiful to live it with Aitana and together applaud you, celebrate you and see you shine on that stage. We love you with all our soul and are immensely proud of you. Congratulations my love @ederbez! I told you this would be the happiest 27th of all!” , were Alessandra's congratulations.

In addition, various personalities such as Galilea Montijo, Valentina Batta and David Salomon celebrated the good news in the same post, with comments of: “What a great emotion! Congratulations”, “Congratulations”, “What happiness!!! I love them” in which several emojis of heart and hands clapping in the publication stood out.

To which Eugenio did not react directly in the post, but instead shared on his official Instagram account a story in which he replied to his wife and daughter with the message “They are always there. Always” combined with a red heart emoji. So he stressed that despite the remoteness, the support of his family is present first and foremost.

The CODA actor also shared endless congratulations from colleagues in the middle, such as footballer Javier El Chicharito Hernandez, Martha Debayle, Omar Chaparro, Adrián Uribe and his children Vadhir and José Eduardo Derbez could not miss.

Although CODA did not appear to the public as one of the favorites in the Best Film category, experts and film critics bet everything on it, pointing out the creative and talented production behind it.

Despite all odds, the film was crowned in this edition of the 2022 Oscars for Best Film, but not only did it get this statuette, because Frank Rossi also lifted the award as Best Supporting Actor, and Sian Heder won the award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
