On March 28, around 09:30 in the morning, the Secretary of Citizen Security of Zacatlán announced that, after more than 12 hours of search and rescue work, security elements managed to rescue the lifeless body of José “N”, a tourist from the State of Mexico.
Yesterday, 27 of this month, it was announced that a tourist threw himself into a river in the area of waterfalls of Tuliman for the purpose of swimming, unfortunately he was washed away by a whirlpool that formed the waters of the place, until his companions lost sight of him. It should be added that this area was restricted because it is dangerous to swim in that place.
The Secretary of Citizen Security (SSC) of Zacatlán released the case during the afternoon of Sunday, March 27. Relief personnel activated a locator, search and rescue device in the area.
It should be noted that after being caught by the force of water, trace of José was lost, and despite the work carried out, it was not until more than 12 hours later that results were obtained.
This is not the first time that a person has died in the area, which is why the authorities reiterated that this particular area was not recommended for tourists, so it is restricted.
