Fan played with Coldplay during his concert in Monterrey, this is how the unexpected moment was lived

The musician was among the audience with a banner asking to perform “Gravity” and, without hesitation, Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jon Buckland and Will Champion agreed

Coldplay shocked the regiomontano audience by giving them an unforgettable evening last Saturday, February 26. With shouts and applause, the British band won over the Mexicans with their greatest hits, however, who undoubtedly got the best experience of their life was a fan who dared to go on the imposing stage to play the piano with Chris Martin.

Over the past few hours, Coldplay became a Twitter trend after a video taken during its recent presentation in Monterrey went viral. The audiovisual fragment gained notoriety due to the gesture that the band had with one of their fans, who with the help of a poster asked them to allow him to play Gravity on piano and, without hesitation, the famous group agreed.

In the video that circulates on the internet you can see a young man in the center of the stage following the instructions of Chris Martin. Before starting, the vocalist joked about the success that the song has had for about 17 years since its release, becoming one of the band's classics.

An old song called Gravity, is not very famous,” he said in Spanish, unleashing the euphoria of those present.

After verifying that there was communication between the musicians, they began to play. As soon as the young man pressed the first keys of the piano, Chris Martin couldn't contain his surprise and expressed a big smile before starting to sing. It should be noted that during the performance, the lucky fan remained serene despite the excitement that sharing such a moment with your favorite band can mean.

The musician, who later identified himself as Bernardo, received the applause of the public and recognition for his talent, however, his greatest treasure was the compliments he received from the group, especially from Chris Martin.

“I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to play Gravity with Chris Martin. Thank you very much Coldplay for tonight,” Bernardo tweeted along with the video that went viral.

Social networks were quickly flooded with messages of affection for the legendary band that has achieved success with songs such as Yellow, Something Just Like This, Hymn for the Weekend, Paradise, Viva la vida, The Scientist, among many others. There were also positive reactions for the young musician who fulfilled one of his dreams.

“I envy only those who went to the Coldplay concert”, “The Coldplay concert lasts two hours but it marks you for a lifetime”, “Upload the whole Coldplay concert to your stories, that one if I want to see it”, “On Saturday I went to a Coldplay concert and if you need a signal to go to one, this is it. By far the best concert I've ever been to”, were some tweets.

On the other hand, the British group also became a Twitter trend after their show was compared to the recent concert offered by Grupo Sign at the Sol Forum located in Mexico City. Some users of the platform considered that there are similarities between both shows full of lights and colors.

According to the exchange of tweeps, the groups caused a sensation with colored bracelets and fireworks shows, both characteristic elements of Coldplay. However, before the comparisons some fans of the British group came to their defense arguing that not only do they use fireworks, because it is something very common in other shows.

Coldplay is still in Mexico, as on March 30 they will give a concert at the Akron Stadium in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and on April 6 they will arrive at the CDMX Sol Forum.
