The driver Andrés Hurtado told details of his meeting with President Pedro Castillo at the Government Palace. The host of the program Hoy es Sabbath con Andrés met with the president to talk about children suffering from cancer and quadriplegia. The animator indicated that he came out quite satisfied and hopeful from this meeting.
According to Hurtado, Castillo has a good willingness to help in this campaign, however, he will have to wait for the vacancia to pass, which will be this Monday, March 28.
“(Pedro Castillo) He didn't give me the appointment yet, because logically the country is moved by the issue of vacancy; but children can't wait. This goes further, it is a very profound issue, it is a cancer issue because there are no medicines for these children. So I had to wait for all this reverend crap to pass, this whole president thing with all these people,” said the TV host.
He also assured that he is not interested in the political issue, but what the president can do for children, whose lives are in danger if there is no quick action. “When the issue of vacancia passes, you come with the children to Palacio to tell the country what I have to tell them about the subject of cancer,” was what the president told him Andrés Hurtado.
At another time, he pointed out that Castillo is not interested in politicizing this issue, let alone Andrés Hurtado, so he indicated that he will wait for the waters to calm down in the political sphere so that the president's aid can finally be achieved.
“The political issue doesn't interest me at all, that doesn't interest me, that's not my area. What interested me is the heart of the president. I loved his heart, it fascinated me. I don't give a damn what people think about me, I'm interested in what God thinks of me,” were the words of Andrés Hurtado, assuring that the only thing that moves him is helping the children who need him most.
“Beyond political differences, I am talking about a president who puts his hand to his heart. I hope I know about all this dream I have,” he added.
As you recall, through a phone call to the Saturday program, Pedro Castillo pledged to provide help to children with cancer and quadriplegia. He even asked Andrés Hurtado to meet at Pizarro's house to finalize details.
The driver explained that this visit was this Wednesday, March 23, being officially registered at the Government Palace. He queued up, showed his ID card and waited more than an hour to complete the interview, which lasted almost three hours, were the details that the presenter told in his program.
