The rock band Foo Fighters is going through the most difficult time of its almost three decades of career, after receiving the harsh news of the death of their drummer hours before their much-awaited performance in Bogotá.

Taylor Hawkins joined the American group in 1996, this being one of their strongest leaps to fame, having previously worked alongside Canadian Alanis Morissette during the tour of the album Jagged Little Pill.

His time on stage with Morissette caught the attention of Dave Grohl, leader of Foo Fighters, so he welcomed the group as a drummer two years after it was founded in Seattle.

Since then, what would later become one of the most important bands in world rock has been consolidated, which would go around the world over the years and win as fans so many people from different generations.

1- They even shared the stage with other great artists such as the great legends of the band Led Zeppelid of whom Hawkins used to do some covers such as Rock and Roll, as can be seen in this massive presentation made at Wembley Stadium in England, this being the first of the top 5 great performances of Hawkins with Foo Fighters.

2- He also liked to perform several rock classics, including Queen as he did in his last performance in Colombia in 2019 while wearing the shirt of the Colombian football team and going from playing drums to performing a song by the English band.

3- Another great moment that Hawkins experienced on stage was when in the middle of the Foo Fighters concert in New Orleans, United States during the performance at the Voodoo Fest in 2017, the son of legendary Queen drummer Roger Taylor, Rufus Taylor went up to replace him on drums while he went on to sing “Under Pressure” ”, a song originally by Queen and David Bowie.

4- Hawkins, in addition to playing guitar and other instruments and singing, enjoyed drums without limits, in which he managed to discredit the world to the level of being considered one of the best on the planet during 2005, according to important media specialized in music. Here you can see how in a concert he gives a great show behind his instrument and his characteristic gestures while performing it.

5- Of course, his last performance with Foo Fighters before his death in Bogotá on the night of March 25, is undoubtedly memorable. Lollapalooza in Buenos Aires (Argentina) was the last event and the last fans to enjoy a show with the historic drummer born in Fort Worth, Texas 50 years ago.

The music world has deeply regretted the death of the American. Taylor was remembered by several celebrities and colleagues who knew him and shared with him on stage or on some tours. In Colombia and the world, it is hoped that a real opinion can be given of what has happened to Taylor, so that in the next few hours the real causes of his death could be known.
