
Producer and stage actor Fred Roldán died on March 26 after battling aggressive neck cancer. The art guild mourned the artist's sensitive death and said goodbye to him through social media posts.
Fred Roldán was an artist admired and close to many people in the entertainment industry, so minutes after producer Alex Gou, close to the family, announced the death of the Lord of the Theater this Saturday, after being in intensive care since March 11, his actor friends, producers, family and audience remembered him on Twitter.
Mauricio Roldán, son and partner of the actor, shared a short statement on behalf of his family, accompanied by a farewell message to his father. Mauricio expressed his gratitude to the people who helped his family financially and spiritually, as well as conveying his pride towards Fred, what he lived and left as a legacy.
“I love you, Dad. You're the most beautiful thing that ever happened to me. I am so proud of your strength, of your struggle, of your life... I admire you SO MUCH”, Mauricio's tweet reads. Inside the letter it reads:
So far, Lupita Sandoval has not made any statements about the death of her ex-husband. However, he shared the same statement as his son Mauricio, where he assured the public that, as a family, they will make the actor's legacy remain.

Sergio Mayer shared a short farewell message on Twitter to Fred Roldán, whom he thanked for his talent. In his tweet he wrote: “Sorry news for theater in Mexico, our dear @FredRoldanActor died this morning. Thank you for your creativity and talent, dear friend. #QEPD”.
Lalo España was one of the artists who expressed his feelings when he heard about the death of Roldán, whom he said he admired for the artist and person he was. He also sent his condolences to Lupita Sandoval and his family.
Fred mainly devoted himself to children's theater, so many families and friends of the actor remembered the occasions that saw him playing characters from the most famous children's tales. They also shared some beautiful anecdotes that they lived with Señor del Teatro, such as the fact that last January 13 he celebrated the 25th anniversary of his theater space, the Roldán Sandoval Cultural Center.
For her part, Patricia Reyes Spindola said goodbye to her producer friend, remembering when she played Peter Pan; “With great sadness I wish comrade Fred Roldan a good trip, a man of theater, hardworking and good friend. We are going to miss you, you are sure to fly like Peter Pan”, wrote the actress
Institutions such as the National Theatre Coordination of INBAL and the National Association of Performers (ANDI), also regretted the departure of the great talent that was Fred Roldán.
