TAYLOR HAWKINS AND RELATIONSHIP WITH DRUGS

The late drummer of Foo Fighters had a brush with death in 2001, when he was 29 years old. At the time, he overdosed on heroin and fell into a coma for two weeks. This disconcerting experience took him away from drug use, he said a few years ago.

“There was a year when the holidays got a little heavy. And thank God, on some level, this guy gave me the wrong line or the wrong thing one night, and I woke up thinking, 'What the hell happened? ' That was a real turning point for me,” he said in 2018.

In another report, in 2021, the musician shared heartbreaking details of that experience. “I was partying in London one night, and by mistake I did something and it changed everything.
