“My happiness to be the official host of the Oscars awards that will be broadcast on TikTok Latin America. Thank you really for this beautiful opportunity and to welcome me to your team!” Such words were not published in solitude, in turn, the actress shared an advertising image of the work she will perform, it reads that this product prepared by TikTok will be aired on Monday, March 28.
On the other hand, Johanna Fadul will not be alone in this production, social media figures such as Alejandro Nieto and Valeria Aguilar will also be present, whose work will be concentrated from the red carpet.
“I don't have the happiness of knowing that I am going to be one of the hosts of the Oscars, are you listening to this? host of the Oscars, this time on TikTok because this spectacular platform that I know many follow is also taking a lot of force and will be part of the Oscars, so I will be presenting around with some tesos,” Fadul also stated in his Instagram Stories.
It is worth remembering that 'Encanto' — an animated feature film that had its inspiration in Colombia — is among the list of nominees for the 2022 Oscar Awards. The film production has its name reflected in the following categories: 'Best Animated Film', 'Best Original Song' (it is worth mentioning that Sebastián Yatra is the one who performs the song, however, the author is Lin-Manuel Miranda), another category in which she appears as a candidate is 'Best Original Soundtrack' .
It is worth mentioning that 'Encanto' enclosed the dubbing work of Maluma (reggaeton singer), who developed in the vocal performance of 'Mariano'. Likewise, María Cecilia Botero (actress) and Alejandro Riaño (comedian) also captured their talent in this field, the characters with whom they acted vocally were 'Grandmother Madrigal' and her son Bruno.
The dubbing done by Olga Lucía Vives (singer), Carolina Gaitán (actress/singer) and Mauro Castillo (singer) should not be left out, their characters to be played are also members of the 'Madrigal' family: 'Mirabel', 'Pepa' and 'Felix', in their respective order.
