The howls invaded the Adidas stage of the Stereo Picnic. Lucille Dupin was the artist in charge of opening the performances of the first day of the Festival in that space, one of the five stages offered by the musical event.

With a feminist message, the singer developed her set amid the shouts and applause of support that invaded the environment. In addition to performing several of the songs in her repertoire, the vocalist released a letter with which she released a strong appeal to the music industry and the macho and patriarchal society.

“I dream of complicity being with the survivors, not the aggressors. I dream of a music and art industry without predators, with more sorority and less patriarchal dealings. With women up, down, in front and behind the stage. At night, I imagine my sisters in prison, free, my sisters dead, alive,” said the artist.

And he added: I dream of the freedom of the wind through our wings. I dream of a world without wars. I dream of fewer political parties plagued by false and false Messiahs promising equality and progress, reiterating unjust and criminal machines. I dream of a world in which our daughters can live, not survive. In which we are not afraid of them disappearing, assaulting or killing them. I dream of a world by and for us, not made for the measure of men, but for women. With a different world.

Lucia Agudelo, the singer's name, acquired her stage name in honor of the French novelist and journalist, Amantine Aurore Lucile Dupin. She stood out for being one of the most notable writers of French romanticism. She was recognized by the pseudonym George Sand.

Lucia spoke several languages, in her presentation this Friday, she jumped with great ease from Spanish to French. In the best style of a rockstar, she burst her ukulele against the floor and threw it to the public.

Lucia is from Bogota and defines her music as 'Astral Deam Pop'. She graduated from the Spanish and Classical Philology degree at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He got on stage in an imposing black suit. Her red hair made her totally recognizable to any gaze.

The Picnic was one of his goals on the list. Although in 2016 he stopped at Casa Corona and was followed by important events such as Hermoso Ruido in 2018, El Yavería in 2019, Speaker and La Fête de la Musique in 2020, the 'different world' was one of his biggest dreams. As he mentioned in an interview, this is his favorite festival in Colombia. Opening the stage, then, fell within the list of his fulfilled wishes.

“From the first Estéreo Picnic I experienced, the first festival I attended in my life, that I fell in love with and I couldn't stop going to until it was physically impossible for me to do so, to seeing my name with my favorite bands, along with industry giants and so many friends and friends. All on the eve of my first album. It's beautiful. Life is poetic. I have no words to express such gratitude. From surviving death to sublimating pain in art,” he said.

“I have nothing left to ask. Thank you to all the people who give life to this dream, and to this heart that beats inside me, for still believing and reminding me why I do what I do. Thank you. See you in March. I love them,” he commented on his social networks.

She is passionate about esoteric issues. For today, in fact, he asked his followers to wear his crystals to consecrate. The ritual, he explained, was dedicated to the goddess Freya, a Celtic goddess, whose name is the origin of the word 'Friday' in English, just the day it was presented at the beginning of the afternoon of this 25th of March. He did it to honor his presentation. Lucille is working on a new album. Although it does not provide any further details, he assured that he has been working on it since 2021.
