Former “Epa Colombia” accountant breaks silence and says she fears for her integrity

During 2021, accountant Yenny Saldarriaga began her employment relationship with Daneidy Barrera, better known as “Epa Colombia”, through a contract for the provision of services and confidentiality agreements. Her first job was to settle a debt with Sayco Acinpro, which had generated arrears for the influencer and forced her to close one of her hairdressers.

The resolution of this problem caused him to generate a more fraternal relationship between Barrera and Saldarriaga, in terms of the influencer they were “friends”, in addition, in dialogue with the magazine Semana, he points out, that he never judged or suggested what to do with his money.

In fact, she says promptly: “I as an accountant have the obligation to record some appropriations, transfers, but from there to manage the money I don't. And since she is so suspicious of the subject, then that's why she was always the one who handled it”, even, at the beginning of the business relationship, she explained to her on a board about the company's tax responsibilities, payment of VAT and invoicing.

The tests taught by Semana suggest that the agreement was made virtually and that a cash payment of 150 million pesos was made as an advance on the business.

But, the employment relationship ended in 5 months, occasionally due to events that occurred on July 30, 2021, where they say that Carlos Toro, commercial director of the Epa Colombia company, was held inside one of the warehouses of the keratin sales business, in Bogotá. Barrera demanded that Yenny immediately leave Medellín, arrive at the establishment located in the Bochica neighborhood or else Mr. Toro would not be able to leave.

The fact, was considered by Toro as a kidnapping, in addition, which points out the media with images, was cornered by “Epa Colombia” and his security men. He was then taken to an office where he was held until the accountant arrived.

Once Saldarriaga enters the winery, he receives threats from the influencer, who are supported by audios, which are held by the Prosecutor's Office, for example: “You can't forget and screw up your life, or damage your life with a woman who has too many followers and who has a mafia that supports her a lot”, while the accountant was surrounded by the escorts.

“You don't know you're risking your daughter, your company, you're risking everything,” Barrera told her accountant, assuring him that, in a certain sector of Bogotá, she paid to have them collaborate doing “everything.”

This situation arose because “Epa Colombia” believed that they were going to steal 2 billion pesos from their bank accounts. For this reason, he held Carlos Toro, forced Saldarriaga to take an emergency flight from Medellín to Bogotá and threatened them and Lina, a collaborator of the accountant's agency, to whom he sent an audio demanding that he hurry up with the keys to banking transactions, “do it for your family”.

Once the meeting was over, the influencer contacted Saldarriaga asking him to apologize for what happened, telling him that the money had been distributed “for a Frenchman and to pay for plates brought from China.” The money was delivered to a bank in the Restrepo neighborhood of Bogotá, to Daneidy's sister-in-law, a fact supported with a document.

This situation caused Yenny Saldarriaga to end the employment contract unilaterally, to which Epa Colombia responded with a sticker on WhatsApp, sent to the accountant, where she put her face with the body of a rat, once she saw it, she says, Barrera deleted it and believed that everything would end there.

Days later, Epa Colombia published the contadora's profiles and cell phone number on its networks, which led him to receive criticism, accusations and threats to all his digital media, in addition, he received intimidating calls.

She decided to remain silent about the issue, because of the confidentiality agreement and the prudence of the case, but in response to the complaints lodged with the Prosecutor, it was decided to hold a conciliation hearing which the influencer did not attend, sending a lawyer who stated that they did not want to conciliate.

But the main motivation for revealing this evidence, says Yenny Saldarriaga, is given by posts that Daneidy Barrera has made on her social networks in the past few days, where she continues to attack the accountant, damaging her good name and because of the threats she has received, in fact, through tears, she revealed to Semana, who was about to lose your baby who is in the gestation stage.
