After several deputies, mainly from the Labour Party (PT) and Morena, set up a friendship group with Russia, Ukraine's ambassador to Mexico, Oksana Dramaretska, called the act a “shame”, claiming that it means supporting President Vladimir Putin's war crimes.

The diplomat argued that the invasion of the Russian army into Ukrainian territory is an unjustified madness on the part of the Kremlin, as they are killing its people and destroying their cities. In this regard, he said that he is not “interested in these legislators who join Putin.” This was stated this Thursday in an interview for Radio Formula:

“What can be said about these people who applaud the killing of people, the killing of children. Supporting murderers is actually participating in their crimes,” he added.

Dramaretska explained that, according to data from the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef), in one month of the conflict, 4.3 million children, more than half of the child population in Ukraine, estimated to be 7.5 million, have been displaced.

Also, since the arrival of Russian troops, there have been the deaths of just over 700 civilians and 3.4 million refugees.
