The most recent achievement of the song 'No talk about Bruno' (We don't talk about Bruno), was nothing less than ranking first on the Billboard chart 'Hot 100′ at the beginning of the year; however, the joy for 'Encanto' did not end there, as its soundtrack was nominated for the Oscars.
All the spotlights pointed to 'Dos oruguitas', a single that will be played live on the voice of Sebastián Yatra as it was nominated in the category 'Best Original Song', but recently it became known that the song performed by Bruno Madrigal in the Colombian-inspired film, will also rumble at the gala of the most important awards of seventh art, and how could it be otherwise, two Colombians will be the protagonists.
On stage, Mauro Castillo and Carolina Gaitan will sing along with internationals Becky G, Luis Fonsi, Adassa, Stephanie Beatriz and Diane Guerrero. In addition, Yatra will also be performing the other famous song of the film, being the first time that three Colombians have sung at the Academy Awards.
“I was very surprised to receive this invitation from the Academy. It is a great honor and I am very proud and grateful to be able to continue to take our culture high,” Fonsi said in a statement, while Becky G wrote on her Twitter account “I am so honored. I can't wait!”

It is worth mentioning that the composition of Lin-Manuel Miranda, the emotional song managed to be nominated in the category of 'Best Original Song', in which they are also competing 'Be Alive', theme of the film 'King Richard'; 'No Time to Die', from the film of the same name by James Bond, 007; 'Down to Joy', by 'Belfast' and 'Somehow you do', by 'Four Good Days'.
For his part, the Antioquian did not hesitate to share the announcement on Instagram, where a good part of his 29.2 million followers did not hesitate to celebrate.
“Hello everyone. How are they? I want to make this video to tell you something very special. We are officially confirmed to sing this Sunday, March 27 at the 94th Oscars. I'm going to be singing 'Two caterpillars' representing my country, Colombia, and having this great opportunity to represent our language, Spanish. I couldn't be more excited, grateful,” said Yatra. He then confessed to having a very high expectation and mixed feelings for his participation in the Oscars.

“I have nerves, I feel a lot of things, but more than that, thanks to life for what is happening. Everything that happens never ceases to amaze me. I see them there. Thank you”, concluded the urban artist.
It should be recalled that a month after the release of 'Encanto' in the cinemas, 'we don't talk about Bruno' became the most listened to song in a Disney animated film in more than 26 years, even surpassing 'Let It Go' from 'Frozen'.
Finally, the 94th annual Oscar Awards will be broadcast live from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles starting at 8:00 p.m. in New York on the American network ABC, and in more than 200 territories around the world.
