With irreverence and their distinctive sense of humor, comedians Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes will conduct the 94th ceremony of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, an event better known as the Oscar Awards.

The 2022 edition of this award will be the first in which three women will lead the international event; in addition, the ceremony celebrating the cinematographic world had three editions without a driver.

Although this format was replicated by other awards, the one in 2021 was judged as lacking a common thread, so, according to the AP and AFP agencies, the Academy hopes to recover from last year's terrible television audience, when it recorded a record low, which was the norm for awards in the era of the pandemic.

In a small clip broadcast on the abc television network, Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes agreed that they should do their job “better than the other drivers” at the 2022 Oscars, but after admitting -jokingly- that it was a competition, they realized that they did not really remember their predecessors since the three years of presentations had passed without them being able to perceive it, so they proclaimed themselves “winners”.

It is worth mentioning that the 2019 awards were left without a driver after the resignation of Kevin Hart, who made an unfortunate homophobic comment and then made the decision to leave his post. The third of comedians also mentioned this event, as they claimed that the actor had been “canceled”.

This is not the first time that three people have conducted the Oscar Awards ceremony, however, the three actresses are pioneers as women at the helm of this event.

In another recording on the abc network, this comedian exclaimed: “We started with three vaginas”; assuring that the presence of the three women on stage “already makes it work” (the show), so she thinks they started quite well.

The actress also described her style as “evil” and assured that she is willing to “have no filter” with the artists who are at the ceremony. “That's what we're all here for, to be able to tear each other apart,” he joked in a video published by the abc network, showing off his sense of humor.

Regina Hall has a long career in films, such as A Funeral of Death, she also gave life to Brenda Meeks in the scary movie parody saga. He has also participated in series such as Law and Order, with Nine Perfect Strangers being one of his most recent works.

Recently, La vida y Beth premiered, a story starring this comedian that is now available on Disney Plus. One of her most remembered jobs is Sexy by accident.

Her life in comedy began when she was very young, because when she studied high school at the South Side High School, she was elected “the clown of the class”. The first show he was on after choosing to dedicate himself to making a laugh was Last Comic standing.

Amy's film debut was marked by Looking for a Friend for the End of the World (2012) and by 2015, she wrote and starred in the comedy And Suddenly You, directed by Judd Apatow. This collaboration led to her being nominated for the Golden Globes for best comedy actress of the year.

On the other hand, producer Will Packer said that the 94th edition of the Oscars will celebrate the film world around the slogan “Film lovers, unite”.
