In the Coyoacán mayor's office they will hold public health days, all services will be free to promote care and improve the quality of life.
The authorities noted that “access to health services is a primary element of the standard of living, providing the necessary foundations for the maintenance of human existence and proper physical and mental functioning, when people lack timely and effective access to health services, the cost of care of an illness or accident may infringe the family assets or even the physical integrity of individuals.
For this reason, through the social program Coyoacán Contigo por tu salud it will provide the following services:
* General medical consultations for follow-up and diagnosis.
* Check-ups, dental procedures and eye exams: which consist of cleanings, prophylaxis, extractions, resins, curettage, fluoride application, sealants and periapical x-rays.
* Laboratory studies, which are blood chemistry of 6 elements, basic profile, Hematic Biometry, general urine test (EGO), pregnancy test, glycosated hemoglobin, diabetic profile, pharyngeal exudate, group and RH, urine culture, prostate antigens, prothrombin time, VDRL, capillary glucose, electrolytes, glucose, HIV, febrile reactions and coproparasitoscopic.
Requirements for accessing health services
* Be a resident of the Coyoacán mayor's office.
* Not be entitled to the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) or ISSSTE.
* Have no financial possibility to pay the cost of medical consultations, clinical tests or medications.
* Priority will be given to those who are part of vulnerable groups such as women, older adults, pregnant women, indigenous communities, people with disabilities or people with chronic diseases.
* Present a copy and original of a valid official photo ID, which can be the INE, driver's license, INAPAM card, or passport.
* A proof of address with the address of the Coyoacán mayor's office, which is not older than six months, may be the electricity, property tax, water, landline or gas receipt.
* The Unique Population Registration Key (CURP) available in its most recent format at https://www.gob.mx/curp/.
How to register?
* To deliver the documents, people interested in health services must go in person to the Head of the Departmental Health Care Unit, whose location is at Avenida Pacífico 181, Colonia Barrio la Concepción, Postal Code 04 020.
* Applications began to be received from March 23 and will close registration on April 30, 2022.
* Opening hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
* When delivering documents, sanitary measures such as the correct use of face masks, antibacterial gel and healthy distance must be followed. After completing the registration and review of the documentation, the staff will give them a card with which the beneficiaries will be covered by the services and will provide them with information on where they can go.
* During the period from March to July 2022, beneficiaries will be able to access general medical consultations, dental check-ups and eye exams up to five times a month, a laboratory study and the delivery of two medications as required.
