The outlook in Mexico City regarding COVID-19 figures continues to be positive, according to the figures revealed by the Secretary of Health, Oliva López Arellano, which is why he remains at the green light for another week.
Through a press conference, Oliva López said that the number of people hospitalized in the Valley of Mexico at yesterday's cut is 316, a good figure compared to a few months ago.
The figures in Mexico City also reflect good expectations, as it was announced that to date there are 254 people admitted to hospitals.
Regarding daily hospital admissions, he stressed that: “we have the lowest income of the entire pandemic.”
According to the figures he presented, at least 19.4 average earnings per day were currently recorded during the last week.
“This is a very important fact and consistent with the decline that has taken place since the fourth wave.”
Regarding people who tested positive for COVID-19 in health kiosks and health centers, an average of 96 people were reported daily in the past 7 days.
In this sense, it is a 99% reduction compared to the maximum number of positives identified on 17 January.
