The Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) completed a second arrest warrant against Andrés Filomeno Mendoza Celis, identified as a serial feminicide from Atizapán, to face trial by one of the victims buried in his home.

According to the official report, Mendoza Celis, the Chino, will now face charges of depriving a woman of her life on July 20, 2019. Although he is already serving a life sentence, the proceedings have not been completed to identify and punish him for 19 murders.

Mexican agents notified the injunction in detention, following the events recorded in the municipality of Atizapán de Zaragoza. He was approached in the Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center of Tenango del Valle, where he remains locked up.
