Xabier Azkargorta warns that Bolivia could harm Colombia

The former coach of the Bolivian national team exalted several Colombian players and regretted the absence of Falcao

T he Spanish coach Xabier Azkargorta spoke for the Win Sports microfinos ahead of the crucial qualifying game heading to Qatar 2022 that will be held by the Colombia National Team against Bolivia at the Metropolitano de Barranquilla at 6:30pm.

It should be noted that the Spanish coach took Bolivia to his only World Cup event when he managed to qualify for the World Cup held in the United States in 1994. The team included players such as Marco Antonio Marco Etcheverry, Juan Manuel Peña, Carlos Truco, among others.

As for the Colombia National Team, the former Sevilla coach regretted the absence of goalscorer Radamel Falcao García, who could not recover from injury and will miss both matches with 'Tricolor'. However, he filled other members of the national team with praise.

Likewise, the 68-year-old coach highlighted the importance of playing in Barranquilla, however he clarified that it will not be an easy match for either team.

Faced with journalist Liliana Salazar's question whether the South American Qualifiers were mediocre, Xabier Azkargorta disagreed with the journalist arguing that Argentina and Brazil are one step above the other countries.
