Stephanie Cayo's brother makes peculiar criticism of “Until we meet again”: “Terrible, I understand them”

In the midst of the harsh criticism that has been receiving “Until we meet again”, a Peruvian film directed by Bruno Ascenzo and the first to be produced by Netflix, the brother of Stephanie Cayo decided to respond with sarcasm to the bad comments that the Peruvian actress faces today and that have made her a trend on more than one occasion.

Through his social networks, Macs Cayo, remembered for his participation in Combate, ironized the bad comments against “Until we meet again”. Let's remember that after the big premiere, users left their first impressions on Twitter, where they pointed out that the landscapes of Cusco were the only thing that could be rescued from the tape.

“I've been reading the comments about the movie Until we meet again on Netflix, it's Peruvian, a novelty. So I'm going to criticize because everyone is criticizing because this is a free country, and we can do it,” he said initially on his platform.

After that, the dancer also “complained” about the poor visibility he had in the film, since in one of the scenes Ariana (Stephanie Cayo) observes a photograph where he appeared as a child with his sister, but it only lasts a few seconds.

“My criticism is that they didn't get too close to the photo and didn't strike me out that much, they didn't stay there long. It was fast, they had to make a close-up and stay longer in my face,” Macs said and then added: “See? Bad, lousy. How can I watch a movie and not go out any longer? I understand the critics, because obviously more things must come out... a UFO in the mountain, that goes down and I don't know, a lot of things.”

As if it had not been clear, the former reality boy pointed out that everything was a criticism by way of sarcasm. “This is more or less how they look when they criticize and above all something of their own,” he said.

STEPHANIE CAYO'S MOTHER ALSO DEFENDS HER

Ana Sanguinetti, mother of Macs, Stephanie and Barbara Cayo, took a face for her family through her social networks. On Facebook, the lady pointed out that all people who are dedicated to criticizing her daughter, should get to work to improve film productions.

“Yes, please, we ask the unruly and bad-tempered Twitter users to get to work (that helps guys), especially not to waste time,” he commented on his account.

WHAT DID STEPHANIE CAYO SAY ABOUT THE CRITICISM?

Since the official trailer for “Until we meet again” was released, netizens lashed out at the Peruvian actress for playing the role of Ariana, an adventurous backpack that falls in love with Salvador (Iglesias) in Cusco. Many considered that an actress with Andean traits would have been a better fit.

The controversy was stoked when Vogue Mexico magazine called her an “Andean actress”, generating a hot debate on the platform. Because of this, Cayo spoke on her account to clarify that she did not represent the Andean woman in the film, since she only had the objective of telling one love story. Despite this, the criticism did not stop.

Therefore, he did not hesitate to send a strong message to his' haters': “I respect the criticism of Twitter, I reiterate: get off Twitter and get to work, or make another film. Let's go! We do need that, more Peruvians doing beautiful things for our country. Incentivizing hatred among Peruvians must leave them a big void. You'd better start doing things for yourself...”
