Mario Iglesias Villegas, the Two, a head of hit men for the Sinaloa Cartel, was sentenced to life imprisonment on drug trafficking charges for the criminal organization on the Paso border linking Chihuahua with Texas.

According to the Department of Justice, this guy enrolled the criminal world under the command of Joaquín Guzmán Loera, el Chapo, until his arrest in 2012. After being prosecuted in Court for the Western District of Texas, he received his life sentence and must also pay a $100,000 fine.

Among the charges that Iglesias Villegas faced is the so-called murder of the wedding, where the groom and his brother and uncle were abducted and later killed, in the vicinity of a church in Ciudad Juárez in 2010.

US authorities say that the operator of the Sinaloa Cartel was an important participant in the deaths of thousands of people in the border city between 2008 and 2011.
