Peru vs Uruguay is getting closer and it's time to find the differences between the two according to their gastronomy. Therefore, Peruvian grill and Uruguayan meat have great differences that can generate intrigue among their consumers. In Peru it is known as the 'Day of the Peruvian Grill, 'which is celebrated every 2nd of December, in Uruguay it is famous for having its great grill.

José Carretero, from the restaurant 'El Fogón del Asador', pointed out that there are important differences between both meats, which will attract the attention of several consumers who want to try these dishes during their stay in Uruguay or when they decide to go on a trip. In that sense, there are 4 points that differentiate Peruvian grill and Uruguayan meat, which are the following:

THE STYLE IN LOS CORTES

On the one hand, Uruguay has a varied grill very similar to Argentina, where cuts of beef, black pudding, sausage and chorizo prevail. Peru also has its good cuts of beef, perhaps of lower price, but of excellent quality, these are mixed with others such as pork and chicken for consumption.

THE GARRISONS

Salads are a classic on the Uruguayan grill, where they also add another element such as fries. In addition, you can add mashed potatoes, lead potatoes or a mixed salad to it. In the case of the Peruvian grill, it is accompanied by native potatoes with everything and peel, assorted salads, corn and even sweet potato. Foods that always generate attraction among those who consume it.

WHAT CREAMS ARE CAST?

In Uruguay, chimichurri stands out, prepared with parsley, oregano, garlic, onion, pepper, vinegar, pepper and oil, among other variants. Peru has as high-consumption creams the carretillero pepper with rocoto, the huancaina sauce with yellow pepper, the ocopa sauce with huacatay, among others.

THE BIG DIFFERENCE

The difference is in the addition that is given to the grills. In Peru there are the beef heart anticuchos, because it is a recipe that is not reproduced by another barbecue country. If you have to add another meat that you won't find on other grills, this is the grilled guinea pig. As for Uruguay, they have pamplonas, rolled with different types of meat, cheese, ham, bacon and other ingredients wrapped in pork or lamb casing.

ISRAELI FAN ALMOST ENDED UP IN PRISON

A few days ago, the Israeli fan said he was about to end up in jail after going astray through the streets of Montevideo. “Yesterday I was very happy with the arrival of the national team. Everyone was calling me to talk, I stayed until the last one to be able to leave. But my cell phone goes out and I didn't know how to get to my hotel because there was the address,” said the White-Red Fan.

“It was 2 in the morning here in Uruguay. I asked the Uruguayans if they knew a square called Bartholomew, they told me 10 blocks away, but nobody knew,” he continued with his story.

After being disoriented for a few minutes, the Israeli fan met some journalists from America TV, who boarded him in a taxi. However, Chauca gave the driver wrong information.
