Luis Sinisterra, perhaps the Colombian player who has given the most to talk about in recent weeks — along with Lucho Díaz — would be drawing the attention of a Spanish football club after his dream season with Feyenoord: Real Betis.

One of those who spoke about the possibility of the talented left winger leaving the Eredivisie to reach LaLiga Santander was sports journalist Hernán Peláez, through his Twitter account, where he posted: “Luis Sinisterra will surely go to Betis, he has done all the merits to reach the Spanish league”.

Betis, under the baton of Chilean Manuel Pellegrini, would not be a bad option for the coffee jewel, considering that today they are fifth in the Spanish league, that is, they are taking a direct quota to the group stage of the Europa League, and even has the option of qualifying for the Champions League, the the greatest prestige in the old continent.

But Betis is not the only option for the Santander de Quilichao (Cauca) native to change his destination once the summer transfer market opens.

According to journalist Alexis Rodríguez, Manchester City stands out among those interested in having his services, although there is no official offer for him. Meanwhile, transfer portals such as Transfermarkt confirm that there is interest from Betis, but also Italian candidates, specifically AC Milan, one of the greats in Europe and leader of Serie A.

It will be decisive in the future of Sinisterra if he stands out in the Colombia team the remaining two matches by knockouts, a fact that will largely depend on whether Reinaldo gives him minutes of play. Although the 18 goals he scored for Feyenoord, 8 of them for the Conference League, and the 11 assists set a good precedent.

For Sinisterra, who talked to the press last Tuesday, playing at the Metropolitano Stadium should not involve pressure, even though the national team adds four commitments without imposing themselves in that place. According to him, the key to victory will be peace of mind when defining goal actions.

The former Once Caldas player also invited his teammates to demonstrate the necessary hierarchy in the decisive matches, to give that extra drop of sweat to achieve the World Cup feat. “We have to give a little more than we have. The talent is there and we have the conditions. You have to drown the opponent, let him not feel comfortable and cause the error to score fast so the match opens. The atmosphere in the group is very good. We have great humans. Everyone is positive and we are motivated. These decisive dates and we are united. That leads us to achieve the objectives.”
