After a thorough follow-up, the police managed to capture two brothers who were two seasoned cell phone thieves under the “car cleaner” facade. According to the police, the favorite place of these criminals was the Lucanas shredder in the district of La Victoria.
During an operation, the police arrested “Sancho” and Panza”, both robbers had already entered a prison on two occasions. “Yes, I was the one who stole. I've been to the prosecutor's office twice but they let me go because it's a simple robbery,” said one of the brothers.
Despite the fact that these thieves have already been arrested, they said that they were released in the prosecution because cell phone theft is considered a simple crime and that there was no other reason to arrest us and send them to a prison.
These subjects identified as José Luis and Julio César Alvan were caught several times stealing. The terna troops already had them in their sights, they were just waiting for the right moment to hit the “final blow”.
“I was distracted because I was just getting a call. I was distracted for a while and when I reacted someone was pulling me,” said one of her victims who, thanks to the rapid intervention of the police, managed to recover her mobile phone.
After the testimony of their last victim, the brothers “Sancho” and “Panza”, were taken to the police station to be held in the prison. In fact, despite the enormous effort of the police, it is the prosecutor's office that has the determination in this repeated case of aggravated robbery.
LOS OLIVOS: VENEZUELAN DISPUTES HIS COMPATRIOT FOR STEALING IN THE STREETS
The residents of Los Olivos district were outraged to see how their main avenues are robbers' lairs. Tired of this situation, they themselves have implemented various security systems.
That's why this Wednesday, they managed to capture a thief who was trying to rob a store. However, what caught his attention is that a Venezuelan citizen caught him and when he realized that he was one of his compatriots, he did not hesitate to recriminate him for that bad action.
Alas! Ma... you leave us all bad, they see us all bad because of you”, she is heard saying in the recording of a citizen of the urbanization La Libertad.
“They have reduced it, they have beaten it, but we know that violence does not justify the facts [...] What else can we do? , there is no response from the authorities [...] Perhaps there is a lot of insecurity in the district that cannot come at our requests,” reiterated one man who plays the role of security.
“Thefts on linear motorcycles and cars were already becoming widespread [...] We are surprised that when we call the Peruvian National Police or Serenazgo, none of them come,” added another neighbor in the area.
Neighbors also took advantage of Panamericana TV cameras to request greater police and municipal support, since for a few months this area has become “no man's land”. They also requested more lighting in the streets, since the low light is the perfect setting for thieves to steal at night.
