Fran Meric fainted during a flight and instead of empathy was teased

Raúl Sandoval shared with his social media followers the bitter experience he had with his family during a flight after Fran Meric passed out, was attended by airplane personnel and was teased by two female travelers. The singer told about his experience in order to raise awareness of the importance of respecting.

According to the testimony that the former Academician told on an Instagram live, everything happened on a flight that left Chicago, United States, to Mexico. The married couple and their five-year-old son returned to the country during the night, which is why most of the people on the same plane were asleep at the time of the incident.

The 40-year-old actress and driver had sat back in her seat to try to get some sleep, when her husband noticed that he had passed out. During the video, Raúl Sandoval explained that they currently do not know why he is presenting such attacks, but it is not the first time it has happened to him, since about two months ago he went through a similar situation.

“Fran had a difficult episode, he had a faint, a seizure, we don't know exactly what it is yet, it's supposedly like a thing that presents itself, that triggers stress [...] you don't really notice it because it's not very scandalous,” he said

After realizing his wife's situation, the interpreter tried to bring him back to consciousness and requested support from the staff, who provided them with oxygen. Fortunately, the Asgaard presenter came to her senses, but it was hard for her to calm down.

“I don't know if it can be called epilepsy because I've seen epileptic seizures and they convulse, they start to make very strong movements and tremble, she doesn't do this, she just kind of gets very tense, faints and has a lot of trouble breathing,” she explained.

As soon as the plane landed, they had a preference to descend first and were offered a wheelchair for the actress to move without any effort. It was before going down that his son Evan heard two female passengers making inappropriate comments about his mother, who was still wearing the oxygen mask.

“I don't know who they were because it was my son who listened to them, they said: 'Oh, pinc*e old ridiculous', something like that. I want to think that they didn't know what happened, but my son listened to them,” said the singer.

Evan remained very serious during his return home, a situation that worried his parents and as soon as they arrived home he ended up telling them what he had heard. Raul confessed that knowing the situation he felt courage, because he believes that no one should judge under any circumstances.

“It hurt me that my son felt powerless to see that they said that to his mommy,” he said.

Given what happened, the former Academician invited his followers to be respectful in similar situations and explained that the lack of empathy is possibly a reflection of the problems facing society.

“If you don't have something good to say about something you don't know what is happening, then you better not say anything. The lack of empathy only shows the situation we are in because there is a war, because there is so much so horrible between humanity,” he said.
