Fedez celebrates the success of the operation to remove a pancreatic tumor

Rome, 24 Mar Italian rapper Fedez, husband of famous fashion influencer Chiara Ferragni, celebrated today the success of the operation he has undergone to remove a neuroendocrine tumor in his pancreas, following the recent announcement that he was suffering from a disease, although without specifying which one. “Last week I discovered that I have a rare neuroendocrine tumor of the pancreas. One of those that if you don't discover it in time is not a pleasant inhabitant to have inside your body. That's why I had to undergo a 6-hour operation to remove part of my pancreas,” the singer explained today in a post on his Instagram profile. The artist was admitted to the hospital of San Rafael in Milan (northern Italy) last Monday to undergo surgery for “a health problem” that he had announced he suffered last Friday in a video on social networks. In the photographs published today by the artist, Fedez appears smiling in a dressing gown, next to his wife and showing the scar left by the operation on his torso. “Two days after the operation I'm fine and I can't wait to get home to my children. It will take a while,” added the singer. Fedez, 32, announced last Friday in a video released on his Instagram profile, on his account with 13.5 million followers, that he was suffering from “a health problem”, but without giving any further details, although he did reveal that it would force him to take “an important path”. The video, in which the rapper appeared very distressed, which made them afraid that it was a serious ailment, surprised his followers, who were attentive to more news about his state of health throughout the week. Finally today the singer showed signs of recovery, as did his wife, the fashion influencer Chiara Ferragni, who celebrated the good news with a photo on her Instagram profile in which she appears hugging her husband. “This photograph was taken on Monday afternoon in the hospital, before the delicate pancreas operation. We were frightened by everything: the diagnosis, the operation, the recovery, our lives and the future of our family,” Ferragni acknowledged to his 26.6 million followers. The Italian celebrity thanked her husband for the support of her followers at that time and the work of doctors, surgeons and nurses. Ferragni, with nearly 27 million followers on Instagram, and Fedez, a versatile artist with more than 60 platinum records and 13 million followers on the same network, have been the most popular couple in Italy since they got married in summer 2018.
