Donovan Carrillo left the Figure Skating World Cup: airline lost its suitcase with its skates

The Mexican skater, Donovan Carillo, gave up his participation in the 2022 World Figure Skating Championships, in Montpellier, France.

The young man who shone at the Beijing Winter Olympics had to withdraw from the competition after the suitcase where he kept his skates did not arrive in time for his presentation of the short program on March 24.

It should be recalled that Carrillo had announced this delay through his social networks, a situation that “kept him worried” given the importance that the event has towards the qualification for the Milan Olympics 2026.
