Colombia's World Cup qualification depends on a miracle, said Faustino Asprilla

Taking into account the past matches, 'Tino' highlighted sensitive absences, although he warned that everything depends on the disposition of the players and the approach of the vallecaucano coach, noting that this time the goals have to go beyond the strikers, as he recalled the scores of Yerry Mina and his absence in this match. Likewise, he stressed that the responsibility for achieving victory does not depend only on the opportunity that the most offensive players have, since this is a joint effort, where all players on the playing field must make their contribution, working in the position where they feel most comfortable and this way, they can get the result with the tools that are available.

Colombia today finds itself with the calculator in hand, because it depends on different results to get its place in the Qatar World Cup, this was taken into account by 'Tino' Asprilla, who pointed out that this did not depend on the name of the players, because the incumbents had to be willing to show that they want to go to the world cup, despite of having a 3% chance to qualify.

The vallecaucano's accounts are clear, because he says that today's result leaves hope alive for the last date, regarding this, Faustino said: “If they tie they do us a favor, because we would no longer have one option but two. Because if Uruguay draws and Colombia wins it would be two points and two points behind Peru. Then Colombia would have two options instead of one, because it would force Uruguay and Peru to win on the last date.”

The Colombia team is obliged to beat the highland team in Barranquilla, in addition to waiting for the results of Chile, Peru and Uruguay. In this case, those led by Reinaldo Rueda must be on the lookout for a possible draw between Uruguay and Peru, in addition to this, Brazil would have to beat Chile and the southern team, beat Uruguay on the next date, however, Colombia is obliged to win six points against Bolivia and Venezuela.
