Colombia vs. Bolivia: these are the starting lineups for the duel in Barranquilla

Reinaldo Rueda's Colombia team already has its eleven starting players for the 17th match of the South American qualifiers on the way to the 2022 Qatar World Cup in the match against Bolivia this Thursday, March 24.

It was striking that among those chosen by Rueda Rivera were Luis Sinisterra, Luis Muriel, Luis Diaz and James Rodríguez in attack. This is how the coffee team will stand with a 4-3-3 lineup at the Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez stadium in Barranquilla:

Before the opening whistle in Barranquilla, the Colombian team arrives with 16 matches played in which they have managed to score 17 points that have them placed in seventh place in the standings, outside the World Cup playoff zone.

Bolivia has 15 points before the start of the game in the Atlantic capital and the goal difference tie-breaking criterion is -3 for coffee growers and -12 for Andeans.

With its 17th date already disputed, this is the standings of the South American Conmebol qualifier in which at the moment only Brazil and Argentina have qualified for the orbital event in Asia:

After falling to Peru and Argentina without scoring a single goal in favor, Colombia will play it in the South American competition against a practically eliminated rival: Bolivia. He will then travel to Puerto Ordaz to face the already eliminated Venezuela on Tuesday, March 29 at 6:30 p.m.

It should be recalled that the last goal scored by Colombia in an official match was on January 16 of this year in the 2-1 final against Honduras for an international friendly match in the United States with the goals of Juan Fernando Quintero (10′), Kervin Arreaga (53′) and Andrés Colorado (67′).

The last match between Rueda and Farías was on September 2, 2021 in the match on date 9 of the Conmebol qualifiers heading to Qatar 2022. In that game Colombia equalized 1-1 in La Paz after goals scored by Roger Martínez (69′) and Fernando Saucedo (83′).
